In spite of Ghana's excellent track record (83% of Ghanaian youth are in school) over 500,000 children in Ghana cannot attend because of resource hardship.
The Cardinal Dery foundation is helping solve that problem by providing scholarships to boys and girls for secondary school.
$750 is needed per year per student.
Recipients must make a formal application. When approved, funds are sent directly to the school. In return students who receive scholarships are expected to provide community service.
